Nagpur: A posse of police personnel from Zone 4 police stations on Monday took out a Route March in sensitive areas to maintain peace during the ongoing Ganesh Festival and upcoming Bakri Eid. The Route March was organized in Nandanvan and Sakkardara Police Station jurisdictions.The march was taken out under the supervision of DCP Shreedhar, ACPs Rathod and Kabgade along with Senior PIs Mahadik, Mulani, Pawar, Bandanwar, and Zaware. In all 23 officers and 117 policemen from Zone took part in Route March.
Senior police officials including Assistant Commissioners of Police, Police Inspectors, Assistant Police Inspectors, Police Sub Inspectors, Head Constables, Police Constables attired in full uniform and armed with lathis, helmets and protective guards took part in the route march.
