Mumbai/ Nagpur: “For overall development of the nation, all benefits of democracy must reach the last man from socially weak and deprived sections. To achieve this goal, the youths must take active participation in politics,” said MLA Praniti Shinde here on Tuesday.
She said this while delivering a lecture on ‘Parliamentary System and Contribution of Youths and Women’s Movements in Development of Democracy’ during Parliamentary Study Class organized in Vidhan Bhavan under the auspices of Commonwealth Parliamentary Board.
Present on this occasion were Speaker’s PRO Nilesh Madane, Legislative Council’s Addl Secretary Sunil Zore, students and lecturers of as many as 11 Universities.

According to her, secularism and unity are sources of national foundation, but these sources should not become weakness, otherwise the condition of India may become like that of its neighbouring countries. So, the youths must stick to the values of secularism and unity, she stressed.
