Nagpur News: Two unidentified youths stole a scooty from a wine shop owner near Fawwara Chowk on Sunday. According to sources, complainant Narendra Palsingh Jagjit Singh Kohli (57) is a resident of Plot No. 108, in front of Gurunank darbar, Gurunanakpura, Pachpaoli. Narendra Singh closed his Varsha Wine shop at Bhuipua on Sunday night. He was coming back home on his scooty (MH 31 DT 7405) when two unidentified youths came in front of Narendra Singh at Fawwara Chowk, near Durga Electric shop. They dashed their bike to Narendra’s scooty from the corner. Finally, Narendra could not control his scooty and fell down. The youths came to him and threw chili powder in his eyes so that he could not recognize them. They demanded money or valuables from him. Narendra had nothing on him. Finding nothing to steal, the youths took his scooty and fled the spot.
Narendra Singh lodged a complaint with Tehsil Police Station against the unidentified youths. Cops have registered an offence under Sections 392 and 34 of the IPC. Cops are investigating the case.
