Nagpur News: Rivalry between two youths took an ugly turn when one of the youths attacking the other with a sword in order to kill him.
According to police, the injured youth Maroti Laxman Pawar (17), a resident of Jawahar Nagar, Mahadula, was proceeding towards Mahadula Gate No 6. At the same time, the accused youth Rajiq Sheikh Rafiq Sheikh (24), resident of Jaibhim Nagar accosted him. Both resorted to hot exchange of words over some issue. However, the words turned too hot for Rajiq who whipped out a sword and attacked Maroti. Rajiq truck the sword on Maroti’s hand causing a deep injury. The injured Maroti lodged a complaint with Koradi police in this connection. Koradi police booked Rajiq in an attempt to murder case and are probing the matter further.
