Nagpur: A dispute reportedly linked to an old rivalry and conversations with an accused’s girlfriend turned violent in Nagpur’s Tehsil area after a group of four men allegedly attacked a youth with a knife, leaving him seriously injured.
Tehsil Police have arrested all four accused soon after the incident.
The attack created panic in the crowded Maskasath locality, where the victim, identified as Avesh Khan, was standing near a sugarcane juice stall along with his friend Rizwan Sheikh when the incident occurred.
According to police, accused Surendra Hole arrived at the spot along with his associates Ganya Koratkar, Saksham Maundekar and Vineet Koratkar. The group allegedly confronted Avesh Khan over an old dispute and soon began assaulting him.
