Nagpur News : A youth was killed in a freak accident on Sunday late night under the jurisdiction of Ambazari police station. The deceased has been identified as Dinesh Khushal Brahmankar (23), a resident of Nipani, Pimpalgaon, Bhandara.
According to information, an unknown vehicle dashed into the motorcycle (MH 31 TC 460) driven by Dinesh in front of Campus, Amravati Road at around 10.30 pm on Sunday. The ‘killer’ driver left the blood stained body of dinesh on the road and fled away from the scene. Some passerby noticed his body and informed Amabzari police station who reached the spot. Cops performed panchanama and established his identity as Dinesh after investigation. Later, the body was sent to Government Medical College and Hospital for post mortem.
Cops have registered an offence under sections 279, and 304 (a) read with sub sections 134 and 177 of Motor Vehicle Act. Search for the ‘killer’ is on.
