Youth found brutally murdered at Sitabuldi in Nagpur; two arrested on suspicion

Nagpur News: A brutally smashed body of a 21-year-old youth was found in Mahajan market premises at Sitabuldi on Thursday morning. The incidence was said to have been committed between 1.30 am and 2 am in the intervening night of Wednesday and Thursday. On Thursday morning, the traders who came to open their shops noticed the body of the deceased lying in a pool of blood. Sitabuldi police rushed to spot and performed panchanama and sent the body for post mortem. Cops have arrested Monu Soni and Sumit Yadav on suspicion in this regard. Police said, an argument might have occurred between deceased and the accused regarding a pulling cart which resulted in the heinous crime.

 

Sources said that Manish had an argument with Monu and Sumit last night. Monu and Sumit also used to sell foot wear on cart. An argument on who will park their cart first in the market led to the deadly crime.

 

The deceased Manish Parasram Sadhwani was a resident of Housing Board Colony in Jaripatka area. He helped his maternal uncle Govind Dharmani at Mahajan market where they used to sell footwear on cart. Govind was reportedly had gone to Mumbai on Wednesday. Manish was seen at the shop for the rest of the day. He also did not return home in the night. Govind tried to contact Manish many times on his cell phone but failed to get a reply. On Thursday morning, when he returned from Mumbai, Govind again called Manish. His mobile was ringing in his pocket, thus, police received the call and informed him about the incidence.

 

Police informed that Manish had an habit to consume liquor. He had the collection of Rs 10,000 cash in his pocket which were missing when the cops checked his pockets. Cops said, that he had consumed liquor last also.

On Thursday morning when traders arrived in the market they discovered a blood stained body of Manish lying opposite Gopi hotel beside Apna Bhandar. His face was brutally smashed with heavy stones. His bike was also recovered from the spot.

 

Manish was the only son in his family while his father passed away a couple of years back.
