Nagpur Loksabha Yuvak Congress, a wing of Indian Youth Congress, on Wednesday resorted to “Chakka Jam” (Road blockade) agitation to protest hike in fuel prices by Modi Government recently. Over 100 office-bearers and workers of Youth Congress, led by its City President Bunty Shelke, hit the streets with motorcycles and took out a rally between Kranti Chowk and Shahid Chowk. The agitators carried banners with slogans like “Reduce petrol, diesel prices,” “Reduces LPG prices,” “Rollback Railway fare hike,” “Control inflation” etc.

Similarly, the protestors resorted to road blockade at Badkas Chowk near RSS Headquarters in Mahal and slogan shouting against Modi Government. However, police on bandobast removed the squatting activists of Youth Congress and cleared the spot. The protesting activists tore apart “Achhe Din Aaye” slogan coined by Modi Government and said “Achhe Din” have come for only ruling party leaders. The poor people are being tormented by rising prices, they said.
