Academic Council meeting on July 3 may clear way for special examination of 6616 students

Acting Vice Chancellor of Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU) Anoop Kumar has called an emergent meeting on Thursday, July 3 to approve the Draft Ordinance 3/2014 for conducting summer 2014 special examination.
After the June 11 directions of State Government to regularize and conduct special examination of the 6616 students of 63 banned colleges, RTMNU’s Academic Council passed a resolution to the effect in its last meeting held on June 26. The AC meeting had discussed ways and means to accommodate and plan these students’ admissions, exams, results in the session as the summer exams are already over.
In accordance with the decision to hold special examination of the students of the banned colleges, the meeting will recommend the decision of Academic Council and Ordinance Draft Committee resolution to be put in the next Management Council meeting for issuance of the ordinance to hold special examination.
