A young girl lodged a complaint of rape with Sitabuldi Police on Friday against 27-year-old youth.
The accused Beliprasad Manoharrao Jhunjhunkar (27) is a resident of Gittikhadan, Borgaon Road, in front of Choubey Katiya Bhandar.
The accused forcefully took the girl in his Maruti WagonR car parked in the common parking lot at Tekdi Road in December 2010. The accused raped the girl in the car after threatening to kill her. Later, the accused lured the girl into marriage and repeatedly assaulted her sexually. But, later the accused stepped back on his words and refused to marry the victim. He used the victim between December 2010 and November 22, 2013.
On the complaint of the victim girl, Sitabuldi police booked the accused Beliprasad and registered an offence under Sections 376 (1), 417 and 506 of the IPC.
