Nagpur News : A youth sustained serious injuries when his brother-in-law attacked him over some family dispute on Monday under the jurisdiction of Kotwali police station.
According to information, the accused tied nuptial knot with Shubhangi a few years ago. Shubhangi is daughter of Subhadra Shivlal Birha (40). Shibhangi was living with her husband at her parents’ house. Accused Pinto alias Trishul Behnuya, on Monday, asked his wife Shubhangi to pack his lunch box. Shubhagi’s brother Suraj Birha (22) scolded the accused for not being able to take care of his family. He asked Pinto to leave the house with his family. Pinto took out a knife and without warning attacked Suraj injuring him seriously on his neck.
Tremor of fear ran into the family with the turn of events. Subhadra immediately informed Kotwali police about the incidence who rushed for the spot. They immediately registered an offence against Pinto who had escaped the spot. Suraj was admitted to Government Medical College and Hospital for treatment.
