Nagpur: Jaripatka Police in Nagpur have arrested a youth for sexually exploiting a teenage girl after taking her to his friend’s home. The accused also filmed her obscene videos and threatened to make it viral.
The accused has been identified as Sheikh Rashid Sheikh Asif (20), a resident of Taj Nagar, Teka Naka, Pachpaoli. According to the police, the girl is a student of Standard 11. The accused lured the girl and took her to the rented room of his friend and raped her. Later, he filmed her obscene videos and threatened to viral it. But, the girl narrated the incident to her mother. When the mother spoke to the youth, he abused her too.
Acting on the complaint, Jaripatka police have registered the case under the provisions of IPC and POCSO Act and arrested the accused.
Teenager held for sexually exploiting 4-yr-old girl
MIDC Police arrested a 19-year old boy for allegedly sexually assaulting a minor girl. The accused, Sheikh Shahzad Shaikh Shahid is a native of Bharma, district Seoni, Madhya Pradesh. Sheikh Shahzad was staying in a rented room in the MIDC area. A four-year-old girl residing nearby used to go to his room to get chocolates.
Recently, he gave a chocolate to the girl and allegedly sexually assaulted her in his room. The victim’s mother lodged a complaint against him after coming to know about the incident. On the basis of the complaint, cops registered a case under Sections 376(AB), 376(2)(n) of the Indian Penal Code, read with Sections 4 and6 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act against Sheikh Shahzad. Further investigation is on.
Man booked for molestation
Shanti Nagar Police booked a man for allegedly outraging the modesty of a girl by creating a fake account on Instagram and posting a video and photograph to defame her.
Identified as Dinesh Khairnath (22), the accused is a resident of Sambhaji Nagar. The 21-year-old victim in her complaint stated that Dinesh was known to her. On May 1, he made a video call to her. He then made a screen recording of the video call. He prepared a fake account of her on Instagram and posted the video and photograph.
On the basis of the complaint, police registered a case under Sections 354(d) of the Indian Penal Code, read with Section 66 (e) of the Information Technology Act against him. Further investigation is on.
