Dhantoli police have arrested a 25-year old youth on the charges of raping a minor girl by promising marriage with her.
According to police, the accused Dipesh Hansraj Daharwal (25), resident of Kamal Chowk, Pachpaoli, Nagpur, trapped a 15-year old girl by luring her with marriage promise. The accused Dipesh called the girl to his office located in Divan Complex, Dhantoli and forcibly established physical contacts with her from 18.07-2013 to 8.10.2013. However, the minor girl sensed the nefarious designs of Dipesh and narrated the incident to her relatives. Subsequently a complaint was lodged at Dhantoli police station against the accused Dipesh in this connection. The Dhantoli PSI Mirzapure booked the accused under Sections 376 (I) (N) of the IPC and Sub-Sections 3,4 5 (L), 6, 8, 9 of Protection of Sexual Exploitation of Children Act 2012 and arrested Dipesh Hansraj Daharwal. Further probe is under way.
5-YEAR OLD GIRL:
Nandanvan police have booked a person on the charges of raping a 5-year old girl. The accused has been identified Rameshwar Chandekar, resident of Abumiya Nagar under Nandanvan Police Station jurisdiction.
According to police, the accused called the 5-year old girl and boy to his house for watching TV. However, after some time, the accused Rameshwar sent back the boy and then forcibly raped the girl. The girl narrated the incident to her parents who immediately lodged a complaint with Nandanvan Police Station against the accused. The Nandanvan PSI Dixit booked the accused Rameshwar Chandekar under Sections 375 (B) 376 (2) and Sub-Sections 3(A), 4, 7, 8, 9 of Protection of Sexual Exploitation of Children Act 2012 and investigating the matter further.
