Nagpur News: A youth was has been booked by Pratap Nagar police for luring a 16-year-old girl and eloping with her. Cops have registered a case of kidnapping against the youth.
According to information, the 23-year-old Rohit Ishwar Wasnik (23), a resident of Narendra Nagar lured the 16-year-old girl when she had gone for her tuition classes. Rohit eloped with the girl on Monday at around 6 am. The girl’s parents panicked when she did not return home after her classes. They enquired with her friend but could not find. After searching for her everywhere, they finally lodged a complaint with Pratap Nagar police station.
Cops started the investigations which revealed that the girl was last seen with the accused. Cops have registered an offence under Sections 366 of the IPC against Rohit. Search for the girl and the accused is still on.
