Nagpur: A 17-year old girl was reportedly kidnapped from the posh Dhantoli locality on Friday evening. The girl had left home for fetching dal from a nearby kirana shop around 7 pm on Friday. However, the minor girl did not return home. A search by the her grandmother failed to find her. Finally, a complaint was registered at Dhantoli Police Station.
Based on the complaint, PSI Pawar, following directives of Supreme Court that any minor girl or boy goes missing then the case should be treated as that of kidnapping, has registered an offence under Section 363 of IPC and mounted a search to trace the girl.
