Nagpur: Yakub Memon, jailed Mumbai serial blast guilty would probably meet his wife and daughter for one last time, before he is executed on July 30. Yakub who is currently in Nagpur central prison will be hanged till death in the early hours of July 30 as his mercy petition was rejected by the President.
Yakub’s wife is reportedly visiting Nagpur on Monday along with their daughter. She is also said to have scheduled a meeting with a city lawyer, however nothing could be ascertained over the purpose of this meeting.

Sources informed that Yakub will get some introspective last hours of his life as night shifts to July 30. Post midnight on July 30, Yakub will be woken up at 3 am. After bath he will be given time to offer prayers at 3.20 am. Followed by the prayers he will be served his favourite breakfast and thereafter given religious books.
As the clock ticks 3.40 am, he will be brought to the hanging platform and at 3.45 am he will be asked to repent for his misdeeds and pray to god. At 4 am the hangman will push him down to the deep, dark death.
Rumours run wild, authorities mum
Earlier, the Home department on July 15 sent Yakub’s execution orders to the authorities at Nagpur jail, following which his close relatives were informed about the confirmation of his death sentence. Since then, Yakub’s kin and supporters have been frequenting the lawyers in Nagpur to chalk out the possibilities. Meanwhile, the security has been tightened around the jail and special guidelines are issued to jail employees. They have been specially told to keep media people at bay and refrain from sharing any information in this matter from outsiders. Nagpur Today tried to connect with jail authorities, however, they deliberately maintained deafening silence over the matter.
