World Women Condom Day Celebrated at Red Light Area of Nagpur

The red light area of Nagpur usually known as Ganga Jamuna celebrated World Women Condom day. This day was celebrated with lots of fun filled activities. The Indian Red Cross Society with the help of National Aids Control Society contributed to this cause as this is the day that the world celebrates World Women Condom day (12 September). The event started out with a drama performance done by the volunteers of the Indian red Cross Society. This drama performed gave the message that female condoms help you to avoid diseases like AIDS and unwanted pregnancy.Then the sex workers from the area played Musical chairs which made each one of them happy . There were also some colorful dances performed by the workers present there. The national aids control society also contributed towards this Noble cause. The function was attended by the Chief of the Indian Red Cross Society PV Singh, Arup Mukerjee, Rajeev Bobde, Hemlata Lohve were the other guests present at the function.
