Department of Electrical Engineering of GOVINDRAO WANJARI COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING & TECHNOLOGY (ISO 9001-2008 certified) organized a one day workshop on “Curriculum Development of Electrical Installation Design (EID) subject”.
The programme was inaugurated by the auspicious hands of Dr. (Mrs.) S. P. Muley, Chairman, Board of studies, R.T.M.N.U., Nagpur as well as by Adv. Abhijit Wanjari, Honorable Secretary, Amar Seva Mandal, Nagpur and beloved Principal, Dr. S. B. Deshpande, GWCET, Nagpur.
Various engineering colleges across RTMNU, Nagpur participated for this workshop and about 80 faculties showed their presence. The idea of this workshop was to the give awareness about the technical depth of Theory & Practical required for the subject of Electrical Installation Design (EID). The teaching scheme and examination scheme for this subject of 7th Semester, CBS, Electrical Engineering will be implemented from the coming academic session i.e. 2015-16 under RTM Nagpur University, Nagpur.
Hands-on Theory session was held by Prof. J. S. Joshi, SRCOEM, Nagpur and Practical session was conducted by Mr. Sachin Kawale, Branch Head, ESP, L&T Electrical & Automation.
The event was concluded with a vote of thanks which was proposed by Prof. P. P. Titarmare, HoD (EE), and Coordinator for this workshop. All the faculty members of GWCET took great efforts for making this workshop a huge success.
