Nagpur News: Vidarbha Industries Association- Tax & Corporate Law Forum & the Nagpur Chapter of Cost Accountants of India has jointly organized a workshop to highlight recent Developments in the field of Cost Audit, on Friday 12th October 2012 at VIA Hall Udyog Bhawan, Civil Lines between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m.
Kunal Banerjee renowned Cost Accountant and Past President of Institute of Cost Accountants of India will be the resource person.
The Ministry of Corporate Affairs [MCA] has prescribed maintenance of General Cost Accounting records U/s 209 (1)(d) of the Companies Act & through various Notifications the Ministry has amended Cost Accounting records relating to the six regulated industries. Now filing of cost compliance certificate by certain categories of industries has also been made mandatory. Additionally Cost Audit orders have been issued by MCA in case of certain categories of Industries, non compliance could attract imprisonment provision in addition to monetary penalty. Also, Cost Audit Report Rules has also been amended.
This workshop will be of immense benefit for the Industry Representatives & all Practicing CA/CS/CMA etc.
