Workshop on career guidance, economic crime & road safety organised

Nagpur: Under the leadership of Adv. Abhijit G. Wanjarri, Secretary, Amar Sewa Mandal, National Service Scheme (NSS) cell, Govindrao Wanjari College of Engg & Tech., Nagpur organized a workshop on “CAREER GUIDANCE, ECONOMIC CRIME & ROAD SAFETY” on Friday dated on 11/01/2019 at our college campus GWCET, Nagpur. This workshop was organized under the guidance of Mr. Raj Tilak Roshan, Dy. Commissioner, Traffic Police Branch, Nagpur City, Nagpur.

The Chief Guest of this programme was Mr. Vazeer Sheikh, Police Inspector, Traffic Police Branch, Nagpur City, Nagpur. The guest of honour was Mr. Atul Agarkar, Head Constable, Road Safety Branch, Nagpur. The program began with the floral welcome of the invited Chief guests at the hands of Dr. Hemant Sonare, Director, Wanjari Group of Institutions, Nagpur in the graceful presence of Prof. M. S. Motghare, Officiating Principal, GWCET, Nagpur. Dr. C. L. Khobaragade, NSS Programme Officer, has taken initiative of this program.

Prof. S. R. Alone, Prof. D. P. Dongre, Prof. G. R. Agrawal, Prof. R. M. Dahekar, NSS members took more efforts for the success of this workshop. This workshop was done in the graceful presence of all students of B. E., Poly and teaching and non-teaching staff. The main objective of this workshop was to guide the students regarding their career, job facilities, how economic crime is increased in our surrounding, the losses due to economic crime, to control the road accidents, traffic awareness and causes from cyber crime.

This was the interactive session to solve the queries of boys and girls students separately and alert them from the fatal accidents. The comparing of this program was done by NSS volunteers Ms. Priyanka Mohitkar and vote of thanks delivered by Ms. Pallavi Sahare.
