Nagpur News: “NMC should work to make Mangalwari zone the best among all the zones in Nagpur,” said Vikas Thakre, leader of Opposition in NMC. He was speaking at the taking oath taking ceremony of chairperson for Mangalwari Zone.
Thakre further said that NMC should complete all the pending development work in the area. He also urged NMC officials to initiate to solve citizens’ problems in the zone.
Ravinder Kaur Bawa was elected as the Chairperson of the zone. Congress City chief Jaiprakash Gupta, Suresh Jagyasi, former Deputy Mayor Sunil Agrawal, Deepak Patel, Prashant Chopra, Jagdish Gwalbanshi, Bhavana Lonare, Saraswati Salame, Sadhana Barde, Rekha Ghime, Sheela Mohod, Meena Choudhary, former corporator Babbi Bawa, Raju Thool, Ward oifficer Prakash Warade, Thakur Jagyasi and others were present prominently on the occasion.
Jaiprakash Gupta said that Mangalwari Zone is known for its friendly atmosphere. Thus, he urged the corporators and political leaders to ignore the political profits and focus on the development of the zone.
