The Mahila Lokshahi Diwas (Women Democracy Day was observed in the District Collectorate on May 18, 2015. A meeting was organized to observe the Mahila Lokshahi Diwas in the District Collectorate under the chairpersonship of Deputy Collector Asha Pathan.
During the meeting all the cases and complaints that were registered by women were reviewed. Some of the cases were also heard and discussed. 19 pending cases were also reviewed and action taken to resolve these complaints and grievances were reviewed during this meeting.
Those prominently present for the meeting include Women and Child Development Officer Aparna Kholhe, Legal Advisor Amita Khobragade, Probation Officer Bhoyar and Woman Police Officer Patil.
