Nagpur: Four along with a woman involved in Gangrape of a 30 year old woman in Mankapur area are to be presented before the court on Wednesday.
The accused- Mukdam Sumar Singh (42), his wife Saroj Lodhi (30), Ramesh Gayakwad and Eknath Pandurang have been arrested in rape case. Saroj Devi, is accused of helping the three men.
As has been informed by the sources, the victim was intoxicated by a drug causing dizziness after which the three men forced themselves upon her. The victim, a resident of Mathura was called to Nagpur by her relative Saroj Lodhi for treatment of infertility by some ‘babas’. The incident happened on 5th September. It is also to be mentioned here that Saroj Lodhi, had taken fifteen thousand cash, Debit card and gold earrings from the victim in the name of probable theft. Later, when the victim was complaining of headache, she was given a drug which made her unconscious after which she was assaulted.
The police have registered case against sections 379(D), 114 and 403 against the accused.
