Nagpur: Three con women robbed a co-passenger woman of Rs 1 lakh cash while travelling in an auto in Bajaj Nagar police jurisdiction on Monday afternoon.
A resident of Sim Takli, near Buddha Vihar, Shobha Suresh Thakre (30) was going to Bank of India, Shankar Nagar Branch in an auto around 1 pm to deposit Rs 1 lakh cash on Monday. Between Subhash Nagar and Shankar Nagar, three con women, travelling in the same auto, distracted the attention of Shobha and removed Rs 1 lakh cash kept in a handbag slyly. Shobhya noticed the theft when she reached the bank.
Bajaj Nagar ASI Bobate, based on the complaint of Shobha Thakre, booked the three con women under Section 379 of the IPC and launched a search for them.
