Woman robbed of gold chain in Hudkeshwar

Nagpur: Yet another woman was robbed of her “Mangalsutra” by two motorcycle-borne chain-snatchers on Friday night. According to police, the victim Anushree Ashish Khatik (37), resident of Plot No. 3, Shilpashri Vigyan Nagar, Nagpur, along with other women of the area, was going to a nearby reception hall walking. When the women reached near a garden in the area, two unidentified youths, in the age group of 20-25 years, riding a motorcycle came near Anushree and snatched her “Mangalsutra” worth Rs 80,000 and sped away.

Hudkeshwar API Ghadge, based on a complaint filed by Anushree Khatik, booked the two unidentified accused under Sections 392, 34 of the IPC and searching for them.
