Nagpur: A 34-year-old woman pathologist has accused a man of stalking her, taking her photographs without consent and attempting to force unwanted acquaintance, prompting Dhantoli Police to register a case and arrest the accused.
According to police, the accused has been identified as Liladhar Barange, a resident of Narendra Nagar.

The complainant alleged that Barange visited her pathology laboratory and secretly clicked her photographs using his mobile phone. When she confronted him and asked him to delete the images, he allegedly ignored her request and refused to respond.
The woman further stated that she had no prior acquaintance with the accused. Despite this, he allegedly continued to follow her, stare at her and repeatedly attempted to initiate unwanted contact, causing her mental distress and concern for her safety.
Unable to tolerate the alleged harassment, the woman approached Dhantoli Police Station and lodged a complaint.
Based on her statement, police registered a case under the relevant provisions of law and arrested the accused. Further investigation is underway.
