A 25-year-old woman has died after falling from the fourth floor of her residence at Rahul Complex, Wing no. 1, near Ganeshpeth bus stop on Monday afternoon. Ganeshpeth police have registered a case of accidental death
The deceased has been identified as Smaruddhi Dhomne, who is survived by husband Sachin and a 2-year-old boy.
Police said she had gone to bring in the clothes drying in the balcony when she slipped and fell to her death. Doctors at a private hospital nearby declared her brought dead. Later, the body was shifted for post mortem to Government Medical College and Hospital.
