Woman arrested for pressing minors into flesh trade

Nagpur News : On August 9, 2014 at around 1850 police sub-inspector, Rathod, police station staff of Lakadganj police station along with members of NGO, Freedom Firm, Pune raided Billo Kalkhor Building in red light area Ganga Jamuna. It was found during the raid that the accused,  Reshma Nirmal Kalkhor had pressed into flesh trade some minor girls for her own monetary benefit on the ground floor of the building, who were rescued.

An offence has been registered under sections 366, 344, 372, 373 and 34 of IPC and 3,4, 5 and 7 of PITA.

As the accused woman Reshma could not be arrested from the spot the police personnel were on the constant look out of the woman. The accused, Reshma Kalkhor, 35, a resident of Badnapur, Gwaliar, MP, presently residing at Ganga Jamuna, Nagpur was arrested on August 13, 2014 at around 17-30 from under Itwari Dahi Bazar bridge. Reshma has been granted PCR till 18-8-2014.

The action was carried out under guidance of Nirmaladevi DCP, zone 3, ACP V May Gopale, Lakadganj zone by senior police inspector, S K Jaiswal, police inspector, S D Madavi, R G Rajulwar, police sub-inspector, Ashwini Wankhede, police constable, Ajay Rode, Pravin Ganar, Satish Pandey, Ratnakar Meshram, Sunil Wankhede and Kavita
