Prize winners of Nagpur NQC 50-50 India World Quiz
Nagpur: Nagpur Quiz Club conducted the annual May quiz at Allaince Infospace, Gandhinagar, Nagpur. The quiz was called 50-50 and consisted of questions on India in one session and the world, in the other session. Viraj Bake a Nagpurian who has made it big in quizzing at Kolkatta conducted the quiz. The winning team led by Wing Commander Samir Gangakhedkar won by whopping margin of 120 points. Other members of the team were Anagha Wankhede, Akhil Singh, Varun Agrawal, Tanmay Chindaliya, Vaibhav Pandey and Ankur Jaiswal.
The quiz evoked high response from quiz enthusiasts not only from Nagpur but entire Vidharbha. Devendra Prabhune came all the way from Yavatmal to attend quiz. Similarly Nikhil Mehadia drove down from Chandrapur at attend this eagerly awaited event. Participants included school children, college going youth, businessmen, lawyers and personnel related to entertainment Industry making it an interesting mix of participants. Quizzing is catching up in a big way in Nagpur. After winning the quiz Wing Commander Samir Gangakhedkar said that quizzing is not just about knowledge but it requires ability to recollect and connect various happenings. Teamwork is the essence for good quizzing. On behalf of the NQC Padamanabhan Pillai thanked quiz master and congratulated winners.
