Nagpur: Rakesh Gajbhiye who was being hunted by Jaripatka police as accused in the wife’s murder has been arrested. He was produced in a court and was sent to police custody remand till June 6.
The accused Rakseh reportedly killed wife Poonam suspecting her character. After killing Poonam, Rakesh threw the iron rod in a nallah but it has been recovered.
A resident of Dhammadeep Jyoti Nagar, Malka Colony, Samata Nagar, the accused Rakesh Gajbhiye. had a running feud with his wife Poonam since past many days. Rakesh was suspected Poonam having extramarital affairs. After eliminating Poonam by smashing her head with an iron rod, the accused went absconding and was hiding in Saoner region. However, cops succeeded in tracing whereabouts of Rakesh and nabbed him.
