Nagpur Today:
When one wishes someone farewell, it is not good-bye, but a wishing that says, farewell in your life, farewell in your career, farewell in all your endeavours. The junior students of Computer Technology Department of Priyadarshini College had organized a farewell party for their seniors who are passing out. They had aptly named the programme ‘Daswidaniya’ which means “Good bye” and farewell to the pretty ladies and handsome men. The event started with an ice-breaker game called ‘Queen of Sheeba” for the men.
The juniors had added an innovative touch and had asked the young beautiful lasses to remove their sandals and place them in a row in one end of the hall. The guys had to go and choose any sandal. This ensured that he gets to dance with the beautiful gal whom the sandal belonged. This couple dance on a slow number set the mood to a romantic atmosphere inside the hall. Then all hell broke loose with the hall reverberating to the music played by a Disc Jockey (DJ) where everyone who could shake a leg or two danced.
What the juniors did next would remain etched in the minds of all the seniors since they had made a video that brought nostalgic memories of their life in Priyadarshini College. The juniors showed a beautiful and mesmerizing video which consisted of pictures of every senior right from beginning to final year during every event or occasion.
A very sumptuous and delicious dinner was then served, which was enjoyed by everybody since it catered to the palate of every student. What brought about hilarious laughter and sheer merry making was the tag distributions.
