Ever wondered what happens when a phone charger explodes on a plane? It’s not often that we get footage of a portable phone charger suffering a similar malfunction, writes Chris Matyszczyk in cnet.com.

‘However, someone flying with Aeroflot from Moscow to Volgograd, Russia, on January 30 captured the scene,’ although Aeroflot said there was merely smoke but no fire.

The footage, however, tells a different story.
