Nagpur: The Second Capital City of Nagpur is facing a weird weather since the past three days. Every morning, just as summer season, the weather is very hot. By late morning, the climate becomes very humid and unbearable. To add to the discomfort, the weather turns pleasant by evening and accompanied by breeze and slight winds, the rain Gods shower a drizzle at scattered places in the city.
Often many citizens are caught unawares and remain stranded at places en route to their way to their homes.
During the peak of the afternoon hours, the Sun God chars the citizens and leaves the city roads deserted. Though the Nautapa (9 days of extreme heat) has ended, many still avoid venturing out in the sun. One look at the roads bordering Kasturchand Park Grounds or the Govari Flyover will reveal how it remains deserted till evening when the sun goes down.
However, this weird climatic condition that prevails in the city has increased certain viral strains to develop and affect people. Many people are suffering from cold, cough, fever, stomach upsets and body-pain. Doctors advised citizens to avoid outside food and unclean water.
