Nagpur:
In a shocking incident, 14 children escaped from Government Juvenile Home in the wee hours of Wednesday. The Juvenile Home is situated at Patankar Square. The “Great Escape” was effected around 4 in the morning leaving the authorities rattled and red-faced as well.

Acting swiftly, cops managed to capture three of the 14 escaped inmates from Nagpur Railway Station. But still, the remaining 11 kids are out of reach of the searching police. The escapade has raised serious question mark over the affairs being run by authorities at Government Juvenile Home.

According to information, the 14 kids first smashed latch of section door at the Government Juvenile Home. Later they broke open lock at terrace door and coolly climbed down from the adjoining tree to make their escape good.

The reason put forward by the foxed authorities of the Juvenile Home is interesting to say the least. Shortage of security guards and employees led to incidents of kids running away from the place, they said. The excuse is nothing but dismal style of working of the authorities.
