Ambazari police arrested an amateur driver and his guide for negligent driving and damaging a car and two motorcycles. Two girls have also sustained injuries in the accident.
According to information, the amateur driver was learning a car under the guidance of Wazalwar driving School’s professional driver on Tuesday night. The learner was behind the wheels while the professional was sitting beside him. The man on steering suddenly lost control over the vehicle and rammed into another car and two motorcycles, parked by the roadside in Ram Nagar. Two young girls were also injured in the accident wherein one sustained minor and another girl suffered serious injuries.
Before the professional could help the driver, the damage had already been done. Onlookers informed Ambazari police who have taken both the drivers in custody and started their investigations.
It must be mentioned that Wazalwar Driving School provides professional training to the amateur drivers in the city. Sources said the trainer had carelessly handed over the vehicle to the learner on the busy stretch that caused the accident.
