Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal made a deliberate act what many call as the mockery of digital India – Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s earnest dream. Meghwal was on a tour to a village in Bikaner district of Rajasthan, where the incident was recorded on camera.
Actually the village he toured does not have proper mobile network and one has to climb up the ladder to get the signal right. He struggled to communicate with the officials and reached up the ladder rested on a tree.
Finally he got successful in connecting to the officials as the villagers had their good laugh, as if teasing Modi’s digital India dreams.
Meghwal then finished the conversation, hanging on to the ladder as if he had won the big battle.
