Nagpur: The viral video of a couple engaged in sexual act at a hotel room, is not from Nagpur, revealed the investigation of Nagpur Today. The 37-seconds-long clip containing sexual content was circulated on various social media platforms. The claims were made that the video was of one of the prominent Nagpur based hotels on Wardha Road. However, when Nagpur Today dug deeper into the matter, the claim of WhatsApp forwards and social media captions turned hoax!
Speaking to Nagpur Today, the spokesperson of Wardha Road based hotel clarified that, like the video shows, the hotel captured in the clip has balconies attached to its rooms. However, no rooms in our hotel have balconies! Besides, the video shows an under-construction building adjacent to the hotel. There’s no under-construction site near our hotel, said the representative of the hotel.
He also mentioned that even Nagpur cops have visited their hotel and asserted that the demeaning clip doesn’t belong to Nagpur hotel.
This is evident that this act has been done with mischievous intent to malign the image of Wardha Road based hotel.Hence,the hotel administration has also lodged a complaint with Nagpur Cyber Police in this connection.
The incident has again exposed how a simple WhatsApp forward or Social Media post could land anyone in trouble. Thus be responsible while sharing anything on social media platforms.
