In a very special kind of exhibition, artist Chandrakant Channe is all set to present his drawings, all inspired by Marathi poetry. Titled Black Bull Etc Aadi Ityadi, the exhibition was inaugurated at Government Chitrakala Mahavidyalaya yesterday and will go on till 29 July.

Interestingly, the poet behind the poems in focus is Loknath Yashwant, who, like Channe, is also from Nagpur. Through his 40 paintings using ink on paper, Chandrakant Channe has tried to bring forth the relationship between the arts. How poetry inspires art and how it is inspired by art in the process. This beautiful process is in the spotlight through the exhibition.

For lovers of art in the city, this exhibition is definitely a must-attend!
