Nagpur: A portion of the famous Shiv temple situated in Bhaldarpura collapsed in the early hours of Wednesday due to overnight spell of incessant rains. Around five-six persons including a child have been injured in the incident.
Speaking to Nagpur Today, a local said that the incident occurred at around 4 am in the morning.
“We all were sleeping, when we heard a noise like a bomb went off. On checking, we found out that a portion of Shiv Mandir had collapsed. The debris of temple had fallen on houses located nearby. Around five-six persons were stuck in it. Following which, we alerted cops and Fire and Emergency Department,” he said.
“All the injured persons have been rescued safely. They were rushed to Mayo Hospital, where they are being monitored,” informed police sources.
