Nagpur: A massive fire broke out in a garment shop located at Jaripatka Main Market late Wednesday night. Though, the cause of the fire could not be ascertained, materials worth Rs lakhs gutted in the fire. All the shops in the area were closed when the fire broke out, no one was reported to be injured in the blaze.
According to the available information, on Wednesday, all the traders had closed their shops and went home. After this, the citizens in the premises saw smoke coming out of the shop.
Soon the fire took on a huge form. After this the citizens informed the fire department. After which eight vehicles from Sugat Nagar, Civil Lines, Cotton Market, Kalmana, Lakadgani and Trimurti Nagar pressed into action. After the hardcore efforts, Fire Officials managed to douse the flames.
