Nagpur: The news of Omicron variant of Novel Coronavirus (Covid-19) is instilling fear among citizens, however, vaccinations and Covid appropriate behaviour will likely to protect against severe Covid-19 cases, said renowned Critical Care Specialist Dr Utkarsh Shah.
“India has already achieved a milestone of 1 billion vaccinations and we are not far away from achieving successfully vaccinating the entire country. There’s no need to panic considering the threat Omicron variant. Only Vaccination and Covid appropriate behaviour will walk us through this!” he said.
As a precautionary measure, one could approach doctors or can isolated themselves if they have mild symptoms of Covid-19 like, Soar throat, headache, weakness or fever, Dr Utkarsh Shah has advised.
