Delegation of VIA members led by President Atul Pande called upon Hon’ble Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari recently to interact with him on various issues concerning speedy development of Vidarbha.
VIA suggested that ‘GRIDTECH’ International Exhibition and Conference focusing power sector be organized in Nagpur Maharashtra, in association with Power Grid Corporation, Ministry of Power and the Government of Maharashtra, in line with directives of Piyush Goyal, Union Minister of Power.
Other issues raised by VIA were to connect NH6 and NH7 with a bypass providing connectivity between Hingna and Buti Bori Industrial areas thereby providing big relief particularly to units operating simultaneously at both locations.
Gadkari’s attention was drawn on attracting Investments in Defense and Automobiles, Non-Productive Investments in the region in stressed units, who deserve special attention for speedy revival.
