Nagpur News :

In its strongest ever statement towards creation of Vidarbha state, Vidarbha Connect (VCan), an apolitical forum of citizens from all walks of life, hoisted Vidarbha flag across all districts of Vidarbha on Thursday. This day of May 1 was selected as the Government of Maharashtra celebrates it as Maharashtra Day. However, instead of celebrating it as a black day like other pro-Vidarbha Organisations, VCan hoisted its specially designed flag at Vishnuji Ki Rasoi at Bajaj Nagar amidst presence of large number of members and other public.

A flag was hoisted by Vidarbha Connect president Advocate Mukesh Samarth in presence of plethora of dignitaries from cross sections of the society. It was followed by a bike rally led by Youth Wing of Vidarbha Connect that traveled across the length and breadth of the city carrying flags and banners of Vidarbha Connect and spread the message of separate state. The rally concluded at Telangkhedi Lake.
