Varsity’s 102nd convocation in August

Nagpur: Finally Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University has decided to hold 102th convocation. The decision in this regard was taken in the emergent meeting of university”s Management Council on Tuesday. The programme will be organised in the last week of August. The date of programme will be decided after approval from Governor C Vidyasagar Rao. During convocation programme, successful students of summer 2014 exams of the university will be honoured.

While giving details in this regard after Management Council”s meeting, vice-chancellor Dr Siddharth Vinayak Kane said that preparations for convocation will be start soon. “The unique feature of this convocation will be that students will not have to wait for degrees. The degrees will be given to students within one week of convocation,” he said.

He also said that there are no pending degrees of any student in university. All degrees have been prepared and sent to respective colleges.
