Nagpur: Union Public Service Commission, UPSC Civil Services Prelims Exam 2018 online application form process began today.The online application forms for UPSC Civil Services Prelims 2018 are now available on upsconline.nic.in. In 2017 about 10 lakh candidates appeared for the UPSC Civil Services eaxmination. The online application forms for UPSC Civil Services Prelims 2018 are now available on www.upsconline.nic.in.
As per the notification, Civil Services Preliminary Examination, 2018, including Indian Forest Services or IfoSE Prelims 2018 Online application form have been made available from today, February 7, 2018 untill 1800 Hrs on March 6, 2018.
As per the UPSC Calendar, the notification for the Civil Services Preliminary Examination 2018 as well as the Indian Forest Services Preliminary Examination 2018 would be released today. The applications would close on March 6, 2018. Civil Services Prelims 2018 Examination is scheduled for June 3, 2018.
Any degree holder can appear for this UPSC Civil Services examination. The applicants must fall in the age bracket of 21 to 32 years.
The preliminary examination is an objective exam that comprises of Paper I and Papar II Paper-I comprises of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) based on Science and Technology, History and Culture, Geography, Indian Polity, Indian Economy, Environment and Ecology, and Current Events/Affairs of National and International importance. Paper-II comprises of questions to test the Aptitude of the candidate. Wrong answers attract a penalty of 1/3rd mark deduction as negative marking
