Nagpur: It could be called “updated” goof up. Even after his transfer almost two months ago, Sachin Kurve continues to be District Collector of Nagpur. The official portal of District Collectorate says this fact glaringly.
The official portal display reads: Sachin Kurve, IAS. Designation: Collector and District Magistrate, Nagpur.
It is pertinent to recall, Ashwin Mudgal, Municipal Commissioner, was transferred as District Collector of Nagpur in mid April. Accordingly, Mudgal took charge of the office a few days after. Sachin Kurve, District Collector of Nagpur, was shifted as Collector Mumbai Suburban. Kurve too took charge of office.
Surprisingly, the official portal of District Collectorate is also showing Sachin Kurve, IAS, (Addl charge) as Additional Collector, ULC, Nagpur.
The moot point is: If the official portal of District Collectorate itself is not ‘updated’ then the diection in which the District Administration is going could be gauged.
