Nagpur: Nagpur University (RTMNU) and Maharashtra Knowledge Corporation Limited(MKCL) is still hanging in balance, with Vice Chancellor Dr SP Kane not revealing about the wednesday’s meeting between RTMNU and MKCL.

It may be mentioned here that the Dr Kane had few days back said that the meeting on wednesday will be final and everything will come out before the people.
However, Dr Kane is tight lipped about the happenings of the meeting. According to sources, the conditions placed by the university for the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) is the bone of contention here and there is few chances that this agreement would take place.

The university has a pending amount of about 3.75 crore to pay to MKCL.The meeting on wednesday was to address this issue only. According to information, the university was ready to release some of the pending amount.

However, the university also had also put some conditions with it. The MKCL officials did agree on the conditions. The meeting ended with no solutions. “This issue will now be placed in the Mangement Council meeting.” said Dr Kane.

In the evening also a meeting of a top MKCL official and VC was held at VC’s office.

Questions are also raised if this matter of the payment of the pending amount was to placed before the Management council.
Then why did the university did not do it earlier before the meeting with the officials.
