In a unique venture of its kind, Lions Club Nagpur Osho Taj organized “Jhanda Uthaao Maan Badhaao” (Raise Flag Raise Respect) Awareness & Image Building Permanent Activity to mark the 68th Independence Day celebration. The members of the Lions Club, as part of awareness activity, earnestly urged the citizens “Don’t leave tricolour on roads, Pick it up and boost respect” and themselves got involved in picking up the flags lying on roads.
The Activity Rally was inaugurated at the hands of VDGI MJF Vijay Paliwal and MJF Anjana Paliwal in the august presence of PDG MJF Shailesh Bagla, Activity Chairman Dr Jai Chhangani, Region Chairpersons — Diwakar Patne, Rajesh Adiacha, Shubhash Mangtani – and Zone Chairpersons Vijay Joshi, Vivek Chib, Rajan Gupta, Lion Quest MJF Ran Vijay Singh, Pintu Mehadia, October Service Week Chairperson, Devendra Sama, DC Greeter, Santosh Lakhotiya, PST Co-ordinator, President Osho Taj Dr Priya Chhangani, Dhanwanatri Phuse , Anil Segaonkar, Shubhangi Raut, Sanjay Dhanuka, Kapse, Patne, and Anant.
In the unique activity, various clubs and officers participated such as Lions Club Nagpur Jaguar, Nagpur Tiger City, Nagpur Princess, Nagpur Orange City, Nagpur North, Nagpur South, Kamptee Central, Nagpur Central, Nagpur Classic & Ramtek Club.
Project Director of Permanent Activity was Dhanraj Phuse, DC Image Building. Dhanwantari Phuse took efforts for success of the Activity.
