New Delhi/Nagpur: Praising the government, Gadkari said, “Many projects that were lying around, we completed them.
Under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi we shed the policy paralysis that had gripped government.”
“PM Modi believes that the North East has been treated unfairly. We have set up a special infrastructure development corporation for the north east NHIDCL.
Our programmes there will transform the infrastructure of the region,” he adds.
“Travelling by waterways is far cheaper than road transport. It is a priority of this government,” says minister Nitin Gadkari listing programmes to develop waterways. “It will be a game-changer, it will be our biggest achievement,” he said.
Also speaking on the occassion Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said “If the economy has to be strengthened, women will have to be skilled. This government is doing that,” .
“Earlier youth had to struggle to to find employment. Today the government is giving them skills as well as jobs,” says Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
