Nagpur: Ulhas Debadwar joined the Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) as Chief Engineer with effect from February 1, 2016. The State Government had recently sanctioned the post of Chief Engineer in NMC. Earlier, Prakash Urade was holding the additional charge. Since Urade retired on January 31, 2016, Ulhas Debadwar took charge of the post.
Debadwar is State Government service since the past 31 years. Before joining NMC, he was Chief Engineer in Public Works Regional Department, Mumbai. Debadwar, in his career, held various posts in Aurangabad, Nashik, Pune, Mumbai and Amravati. His posting in Nagpur is the first posting in the city.
